Producing a voluntary CSR report is key for SMEs to cope with pressure from their stakeholders (investors, customers, banks, etc.), to highlight their exemplary nature (brand image), to guarantee their access to financing, or to improve their competitiveness and resilience in the short, medium, and long term by managing their sustainability issues. The CSRD is a structuring regulatory framework. CSRD software saves you time, guides you, and allows you to manage your ESG performance in a centralized and secure location.
The VSME framework is ideal for companies with fewer than 250 employees. For larger companies, other frameworks such as the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) exist.
To produce a VSME report, you must identify the data to be collected for your report through an applicability analysis, collect the data from the referents and calculate the indicators following the methodologies proposed by the VSME framework, and finally format the data following the proposed framework.
